Someone at !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! / !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! posted a few specs and factoids that he claims to have gotten from Hot Rod 's Brandan Gillogly. Apparently, the C7 Z06 is a really fast car. GM most likely won't bring it to the D.C. Auto Show, but I'm excited to see the Stingray in person.

Pully swap and exhaust, maybe a cam, and this thing could touch 750 HP.

It's gonna be crazy. It makes me kinda doubt that GM's even going to bother making a 700+ HP C7 ZR1, as much as I'd like to see one.

I bet they will, but it won't be a huge step up from the Z06 mechanically, probably with more work in suspension than the engine.

Yes, but did you know Jalopnik leaked the ENTIRE CAR a full 2 YEARS before it was unveiled? http://jalopnik.com/5858683/exclus…

What's funny is that I can actually see a few similarities between Jalopnik 's exaggerated C7 Stingray render and the C7 Z06.

Yeah, I've been seeing the same thing. Its kinda disturbing how accurate they were for the "performance" C7.

If the C7 Z06 will have a Z07 package available, I figure the C7 ZR1 would be a more powerful, stripped-down track toy rather than the jack-of-all-trades that the C6 ZR1 was. I just don't know how much further GM can push the envelope before making a model that's a street-legal track toy like the Z/28 or that foregoes street-legal status so as to be completely track-focused.

As I recall, they said they chose to render the C7 ZR1.
